If you want it to be slightly faster, you can try to use a camera's video. It works a LOT better than Webcam. I have a webcam as well, and that's slow as well. So I use my camera's video thing better.
Congrats on your new job! Shucks about you losing your CI. What did the audiologist mean by expired if you ever find it? How can it be expired? I understand that the map may be gone, but...

Hey, I quit my job 2 days ago offically was yesterday, long story but basically my supervisor slapped my hand and yelled, I lost my cool and left the place and think more about it, decided to quit because of hostile working evironment.
Anyways yeah it do work better but I lost my rechargeable battery so I use regular for now and it eat the battery up soooooo fast like 10 min sheesh. No time to redo if I mess something up. Lol also webcam's easiest because its already there and ready to go just click away and then captioned it ta-dah lol
I'll probably buy new one or check into any relay service if they provide free webcam soon I'm not too worried about it. As long it can catch my sign well enough :-p
